When we heard that Sherri Stoner would be at a 50th Anniversary Little House on the Prairie event that we’d already planned to attend (she played Willie Oleson’s wife, Rachel), we realized she also played Jessie Courtney in the V weekly series episode “The Champion”!
Sadly, the event itself was the worst organized event we’d ever attended, but all of the actors were amazingly gracious and did everything they could with what they had to work with for the fans.
When we got to her table, Sherri was knitting away on a sock and she lit up when we mentioned we loved her in V as well as her work on Little House and on Animaniacs. We presented her with our traditional gift of the mug and she was touched at how many V fans wanted her autograph. She told us how much fun it was to be on that show and how she had to learn to shoot a gun for the episode and wasn’t sure she could do it – but she did! And getting to work with Marc Singer was so cool for her.
Sherri was just the sweetest and we were so glad we had the chance to spend a little time with her that day.
